The web is a very flexible drawing board and every page on it is an example of what can be done.
The specific purpose of a site should be the
primary consideration in it's design. It should
be designed toward the lowest end user and avoid the use of excessive graphics
that
will only result in longer waits for the end users. Below are a couple
of simple examples.
As I find other examples that fit the extremes of both
good and bad I will add to this list.
